Is there gluten in cardboard?

No, that's how they make cardboard - take the gluten out of food.

Ok, I will be the martyr...
I have benefited from a Gluten-free diet, lost weight, felt more energy etc blah blah blah. I not interested in starting or furthering the debate as the tone in here is very anti gluten-free. However if anybody is interested in reading a counterpoint to the article, here is a link:

I don't know, I'm no fan of naturopaths but doctors aren't always helpful. My daughter has wicked problems with soy - diarrhoea, stomach cramps, farting like a trucker - and soy lecithin is in just about every processed food. We went to see an allergist and all the tests came back negative so he said he couldn't help us, she doesn't have allergies. What about all the symptoms? "Oh yes, she may have insensitivities but we don't deal with those."
Thanks for the help! we found our own remedy - check every damn label.

I too have found that allergists seem to be just as shady as chiropractors. Rather than wanting to identify the trigger of my allergic reaction, they went on this long term care plan for things that half the population has some reaction to like pet dander and pollen. It's all about getting you into their office for monthly "adjustments" than finding the real problem.

Oh it gets much better than that. Thanks to CP's NSFL, I've even made Hawaiian lasagna. It is awesome.

Haha. I like that this thread has the same people complaining about fussy gluten fakers who are fussy pizza eaters.

I remember seeing a thing on facebook that said "Being against gay marriage is like being mad at the person infront of you at Subway for not ordering what you like"
This conversation seems somewhat similar. Who cares what kind of pizza someone else likes?

I don't think they are complaining because someone likes a different kind of pizza. I think they are complaining that when pizza is ordered for a crowd, there is a disproportionate number of pizzas ordered that the majority do not like.

Well in this case it's more being mad the the person infront of you in subway orders for you, and orders something you don't like.

Pizza really is like gay marriage. Some get eaten, and some blow.

Did you happen to reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates and increase your intake of fruit and vegatables as a result of your gluten free diet. If so I agree that eating healthier in general will make you feel better.

Yes, if it was only that easy....
I had done the reduced carbs, eat lean protein and was eating 'healthy' by your standard. Still had energy issues, ibs, etc. It was only when I eliminated gluten/wheat did it help. I love bread, it was not easy to give up, but I am glad that I did.
