That's pretty messed up, can't think of a good reason the paramedic tossed the guy to the ground like that.

I thought it was awesome, I used to deal with some drunkies and sometimes the only way to get through to them is to get their attention, it's not like this paramedic tossed some disabled guy from his wheelchair here.

Furthermore you really have no clue what actually happened so it's a bit premature to be making comments no?? or is someone telling you it was premature a pretty common occurance for you?

Can you name something the guy in the wheelchair would do to give the paramedic the legal right to take the action he did?

....BTW, is it a common thing for you to come across as a total a-hole?

edit - Global may have edited the video, need to see the whole event.

The paramedic supplying the wheelchair changes my perception a bit.

I'd like to hear his side of the story, if the patient was endangering himself then a 'yoink' may have been the safest action.

His manner before and after the would-be-assault doesn't strike me as dangerous. He was on the radio as soon as was practical.

Awesome, hey? I've dealt with people in wheelchairs. There's no reason to pry him out of a wheelchair like that. If there's a mental problem with the patient, you step back and call police back-up if necessary. No need to hurl him out of the chair, regardless of what the issue is.

God damn paramedics. When is someone get control over that occupation? They just run riot doing whatever they please. This guy in particular must have either been a cop in the past, or wants to be a cop. Unbelievable.
