Got snaps from a friend who is doing this and it seems like any time there is a pokemon some where, there's a big crowd of people.
I think I'll give it a whirl when it comes out properly.

It is pretty funny. I've seen several people doing it just in my neighbourhood while walking the dogs. There is a gym just a few doors down from me.
I've played it for just a few minutes and I've enjoyed it so far. Already shared a laugh with a Stanger.

Me too, its funny seeing so many people doing the exact same thing. Downtown is the best for it, theres so many pokestops
Last night driving home me and my fiance stopped at a gym and pokestop. There was a young girl with an umbrella in the rain fighting the gym, you can tell because the gym has smoke and lighting when its currently being battled. After she beat it she left a pretty weak Jynx there and walked away. I beat it and claimed it back for the blue team then headed home
Someone must have done the same to me because my Hypno came back with no health by the time I was home

If you have any doubts, just head down Princes Island park, and take a look at all of the people playing it there. I think there were probably over a hundred people playing it around there. Myself included.

What's wrong with Articuno? It's the best of the three legendary birds in Gen 1.
(I get that most people only look at the color or team name, but I looked at the Pokemon silhouettes in the team logos and that came to mind first!)

IMO Zapdos is this coolest. In all reality though colour, name, and choice in legendary bird is subjective, so it's no big deal. That said, choosing the most popular team is lame. Coincidentally the most popular teams in the NHL are the oilers and leafs. blue teams. As a hyperbole I'm making a connection between the two.
Now I'm not saying any member of the blue team is a closet oiler fan. I'm just talking some fun poke-smack talk.
