caught the finale finally last night.

Really sad to see Tom killed. I think I liked him the most. That said I am glad they did it. I hate shows that the main ppl are invincible especially in this type of setting.

Good Finale, it sets up Season 3 to go a variety of directions. Very happy to see it coming back.

So did anyone watch the third and final season that just ended on Wednesday?

We did, nice to see a show that knew it was going into their final season and planned accordingly instead of having to try and tie everything up on short notice.

Series finale thoughts and spoilers obviously:

I just knew in my gut this year that Faber was probably going to sacrifice himself by the end. Circumstances just kept getting him in deeper and deeper and the chance to help the team out and get away to Spain with Sabine looked less and less likely.

Sinclair going all badass in the second last episode, and making the ultimate sacrifice as well to keep everyone safe. Seeing that and then Faber's final act in the finale really showed just how similar those two were in their core, willing to do anything to get the job done for what they believed in.

The last scene(s): Aurora goes back into the field, Belgium this time. Alfred is now running the show at Camp X, Neil goes back to England? Does he continue to serve or he has done his duty and can return to his only family (his niece) safely? Kristina is just back at the camp in her same role but with Alfred? I'd be thinking she'd want back into the field, unless the events in Berlin gave her more than enough of a taste for that life.

And ultimately what becomes of what Alfred and Aurora had?

I do like how they didn't wrap all of this up, and leave it open for us to make our own interpretations and theories of how things may have continued on.
