I watched this show along with cocaine cowboys 1 and 2. Narcos leaves out a whole lot, the Black Widow and the Ochoas played a much larger role than was portrayed and Escobar was actually third fiddle, his story was just more romantic and enthralling.
Especially with Black Widow, she taught Escobar the art of the trade and they left all that out.
How is there a second season with respect to Pablo Escobar? When the first one finished, didn't they basically say how the story ended? That was my recollection of it, but it's been quite a while since I watched it.
He hides out for a while, but they really did screw up the pacing in this series. They didn't have to rush the first season so much as there were a lot of events they didn't put enough weight on. They could have basically fleshed out the timeline a little more in the show and then had, say, episode 7 in season two basically be where season 1 ended off. Because really there's about 3 episodes worth of stuff left that they're going to stretch into 10.

I've had the most productive two weeks in recent memory, and was hoping to keep the ball rolling. This is horrible timing. Loved season 1 of this series.
Back to being an unproductive slob on the couch, I guess.
I finished season 2 yesterday, just one thing that is confusing me.
Spoiler!
Why did La Quica kill the evil doctor and the sketched out accountant as they were picking up from the last safe house? I didn't understand where that came from. He was getting annoyed because Pena kept calling him, so he goes in and shoots Pablo's loyal men? Idgi. Was Quica planning to run away with the money? Pls explain.
