Last year as well. Get wins against the lower teams and you’re in.

Playoff teams do that.

I am so, so torn this year and it's tough. A game like that is fun but we're sitting somewhere around picking 9th.

I'm never one to cheer for losses but at the same time I really want to see what we can do with a nice high pick and a small fortune in lesser picks.

Every game is stressful!

Meh, just enjoy the game. Look what we did with Sam Bennett. Just enjoy the games and let Conroy build from all of the other avenues.

Yeah, I just can't bring myself to cheer for the Flames to lose while a game is actually on. Unless it's a weird one at the end of the year and losing would cause the Canucks to miss the playoffs or something like that.

After the disappointment of a loss wears off, I'm happier because their pick is higher, but at the time it's happening I'm disappointed. It's weird.

Jets have been struggling somewhat the last while.

And teams don't take the Flames seriously either.

Great game by the flames… everyone contributed. We are entering into that phase of the season where team’s records so far and even their rosters seem to be useless in predicting the outcomes of games. Teams at the bottom of the standings will beat teams at the top. Some teams are playing loose. Other teams are playing tense because they are so close to a playoff spot and every point is so crucial. On top of that, some teams have such a cushion in the standings they seem to take games for granted and end up laying an egg.

Yeah, when they were talking about that, I thought they meant it was only his second natural hatrick. I can't believe he only had 1 one hatrick with us.

I do remember it being a bit of an ongoing gag with Monny. He had a bunch of 2 goals games and real good looks to get a hat trick but he only managed it the one time, surprisingly.

Scoring is way up in the NHL. In the past 9 nights, we've seen a ton of score totals of 6+ goals:

Blues 7
Sens 6
Sabres 7
Avs 6
Oilers 8
Rangers 7
Lightning 6
Blues 6
Stars 9
Sharks 6
Panthers 9
Leafs 9
Devils 6
Rangers 6
Wild 10
Canucks 7
Oilers 6
Flames 6

Ladies & gents, we've officially returned to the 80s!

A very entertaining game this aft. Marky held tough after Money had a quick
start. Great win for the good guys. Huby looking like a contributor and I like it. I like it a lot. Not sure and Kuz and the switch though. He does have 3 goals with us already and has brought good energy.

Last 2 seasons have been the highest scoring seasons since 92/93 I believe.

It feels like scoring is down this year ?
