Based on what Hartley said today, once he's cleared to play, he'll play.

IIRC, Kipper has never won in Anaheim during the regular season, so that might not be the best place for his first game back.

The last time he was injured was in 03/04... so yes.

He finished the season with a GAA of 1.69, a modern NHL.

Funny reading the reporters on Twitter this morning... MacDonald is practicing in the home net, that must mean he's starting tonight. Kipper left the ice first, that must mean he's starting tonight.

Robo Kipper has been rebuilt and will now have 44 consecutive shutouts.

I'm glad he's back, but I also hope Hartley doesn't play him every single game the rest of the season to try and salvage the playoffs.

I don't think you'll see him every night, but only because they saw they have a capable backup in MacDonald. It's been a long time since we've seen that.

Considering how long Kipper was out for, I am very impressed that we are a .500 team right now. Kudos to Macdonald/Irving/Taylor for playing decent hockey for the most part. I still believe!

Kiprusoffs performance this week should tell us all we need to know about this teams play-off chances. Honestly I'm not optimistic, his performance prior to his injury was only marginally better than replacement level goaltending (ie. free agent goalies like Taylor). He needs to improve his even strength save % if we are going to make a run.

But if there's one goalie that turn his game around its Kip.

Also look at the last time he was injured. Cup run form. I want that Kipper.

Hopefully we see the old Kipper back tonight and the team can get on a nice roll. Its amazing we are only 4 points out of a playoff spot with the disaster that this season has been so far. I'm all for making deals to better the team any chance you can but the goal has to be making the playoffs every year at the same time. Maybe an impossible task but a fan can dream...

Well ....what does that mean Clint???....too many reebs and cigarettes in the off season whilst fishing and trying to rest his back after carrying this entire team on his back for years before sending everyone or just me into panic mode.
