The show really jumped the shark for me last night (watched it on PVR). It used to be interesting and edgy, now it's campy and predictable. Not to mention ridiculous. No one saw the apparently highly trained killer tiger come from nowhere and start killing people? No one can hit Negan with over 1000 rounds of bullets shot at his truck? The list goes on and on.
It got a little ridiculous and not really entertaining, I really don't think I can keep watching it.

Well, I thought the finale was excellent and am looking forward to next season.
This show gets more bitching done about it than any show ever. I seriously wish the whiners would just go watch something else and not bother telling anyone they're doing so. I promise you, we don't care.

10 people shooting at Neegan's truck. Nobody hits tires, and nobody hits the Trudeau salute?
The gun fight was terrible was inline with every other one on this show.

I thought it was a bit rushed, and they could have done the battle better, but I like where the story went and is going. Really want to see the garbage pail kids gone too.
They say next season will be faster paced, I'm hoping that's a good thing. May mean a high rate of attrition!

I thought the season ender was very good, although the battle scene was phony with the good guys surviving much too easily. However, this is what you get with a show like this and I think season 8 will be very good (from what I'm hearing).

Yeah, that's what I did. Got sick of show so just stopped watching.
I do however recommend the Telltale video games for anyone that has an interest in the Walking Dead or this world. They've captured believable well thought out characters, good stories and an actual tone throughout that the series just never did. These games are the highmark of the Walking Dead world IMO, better then the comics.
Main beef with the show is it never decided what type of show it is, it never found a common ground episode to episode. That an season length, not going with a now common format of 8-10 episodes killed it. 16 hours per year is way too much for a show this shallow on story telling.

I've been close but just can't and that's because there's just enough there for me to still consider it entertainment worth my time. I think the reason so many people complain about the show is because the faults are very evident and you don't need to be a critic to spot the flaws. I understand the frustration of fans that believe the show is above criticism but I when the story writing and acting is as bad as TWD it's simply something the show will never escape as long as it's watched by so many. I like to discuss the good and bad of the show and I don't plan on changing that unless it gets to the point that I follow suit and pull the pin on watching it.

I am sure no one thinks it is above criticism. It is the seemingly constant repetitive criticism and the weekly declarations of "I am so close to not watching this show" that is getting old. I just wish those people would stop watching.

None of them. I hope Negan bashes all their heads in. Everyone in the survivors is so damn annoying.

It's unescapable though when discussing this show. It's polarizing. This isn't the only TWD thread I post in and the conversations are nearly identical. It's legacy will likely be that of a love/hate show and there's nothing wrong with that.

We may have to wait until fall for a new Walking Dead episodes but we have exciting news about the upcoming season NOW! According to TVLine, Steven Ogg, Katelyn Nacon and Pollyanna McIntosh have all been elevated to series regulars For The Walking Dead Season 8!

Ugh this means the Pumpkin Pie Hair cutted Freak and her garbage dump friends will probably have a bigger role in Season 8.

Would be awesome if someone could come up with a show where he's a core character. He's got a great presence and I think his GTAV character carries with it a lot of fans.
