Just goes to show how much environment and fit matter .
Either way, I really did not like him with the Flames.

Looked like a pretty week penalty call on the devils...definitely wouldn't have been a penalty if he cross checked him with his stick rather than empty hands...

I proposed Comeau for Sven in last nights GT..b
Schnieder starting vs Oilers..that mean Flames get to light up their backup?

so far it kind of looks like the oilers are in control, but their power play is terrible. Their top scorer on the PP this year is Purcell with 4 points, good enough for 77th in the NHL.

Hard to say, Schneider has started every game so far this year.

New Jersey didn't get a shot on the Oilers until 12 minutes into the game...

Excellent. We get a fatigued starter or a rink rusted backup then, on the 2nd game of a back to back....
8-1 Flames

The Islanders win the first game in the home-away series, 5-4 in the shootout. Both teams were playing offensively in the first period, five goals were scored. The Islanders scored three goals in 95 seconds. Tomorrow's game should be just as good.

Lucic with the blindside two hand glove punch to the side of the guys head in the corner, then won't drop the gloves... Got what he deserved.

To be fair to Lucic, it looked like a two hand glove shove to the shoulder, not head, imo.

LOL all 4 Oilers (on PK) within 8 feet of the blue line and boards as the Devils entered Zone on other side.

And the PK was a result of Too Many Men.
Edmonton is No Good.

1-0 for the Devils as Henrique easily gets past the Oilers D. Hopefully this stops the Sportsnet crew from going on about how "great" the Oilers have looked this game.
