Default Lines when Colborne/Backs/Raymond are all back

What does the line-up look like when these guys are all back?? I haven't even mentioned Stajan for that matter but what about him as well? Some very tough decisions ahead for Bob in the coming weeks especially with how well Jooris, Granlund, recently Sven and Byron (to name a few) have been playing this is going to be downright brutal to have to try and decide the line-up.

As it sits I want to see Sven - Jooris - Byron remain a line as long as possible, these guys have been flying the last two games and I wanna see if the can build on the chemistry.

When they are all back though its hard to scratch some of these guys:

Raymond - Monahan - Hudler
Glencross - Backlund - Jones
Gaudreau - Colborne - Bouma
Sven/Granlund - Jooris - Byron

Stajan, Reinhart, Granlund/Sven, Bollig, Grats, Seto (I think we need to let him go) , etc.

We have so much depth its crazy to think how this is gonna shake down once healthy bodies start coming back.

Glencross Monahan Jones
Jooris Sven Byron
Gaudreau Hudler Backlund
Colborne Bouma Raymond

Tough to pull Jooris out of the lineup if he keeps his faceoff performance where it is.

It sucks, but someone who doesn't deserve to get sent down will. I think Reinhart for sure goes down, and I'm hoping Seto as well. As for the rest, I think one of Granlund or Baertschi (probably Baertschi) will go down as well, which is a shame, because neither of them deserve to go down at this point.

It's a great problem to have though. It will be interesting to watch.

Glencross - Monahan - Colborne
Gaudreau - Granlund - Hudler
Raymond - Backlund - Jones
Bouma - Stajan - Jooris

x Byron, Bollig, McGrattan. Jones will probably be injured again so Byron can take his spot.

Baertschi, Reinhart, Ferland, Setoguchi sent down.
I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Edit: yep, I forgot Raymond.

Man, pretty crowded. I'm thinking Glencross/Stajan/and maybe Hudler will be gone by the deadline or so to make room.

I know I'm in the minority but I don't want Colborne or Stajan back. I like Colborne but really don't like how he plays. He is soft and skilled but doesn't really fit the mold of this team in my opinion. He gets his points but I really don't like the way he plays. Again, I know I am in the minority and it does seem that he is here to stay. Hope they can get healthy and be trade-bait at the deadline.

Stajan is easily replaced by Jooris or Granlund.

Last I heard was none of the guys were coming back any time soon. Ferland and Reinhart will go down. Setoguchi will be waived. I have to think jooris is a shoe in to stay. Granlund has the edge to stay up over Sven right now, but if the Sven -Byron-jooris line keep playing like they have it could make it hard to send Sven down.

If the flames have to trade veterans I'm not sure who goes? Jones contract is hard. I don't see glencross waiving. Raymond just signed, not going anywhere. Maybe Hudler but I think that would be a mistake.

I hate to say this but would they think about trading granlund for a young dman? Our youngsters are what teams are going to want.

Colborne used to play soft but now he's learned to use his size and is a force on the boards. Your opinion seems to be based on the guy he used to be not the guy he is.
A big, skilled forward who has room to improve and by all accounts is a great kid? You don't want that guy back?

Like I said, I really like him. He seems to stick up for his teammates and like you said, seems like a great guy.

But I still think he plays soft. And it's more the fact that other forwards are stepping up and filling his spot better. Not like I care deeply one way or the other but I would not be sad to him go and will still cheer for him when he does come back because I do think he is here to stay. I just don't think it would be a big loss if another player took his spot.

Assuming Stajan isn't back yet, I would at least love to see this for a few games:

Glencross - Monahan - Jones
Gaudreau - Granlund - Hudler
Raymond - Backlund - Colborne
Bouma - Jooris - Byron
Bollig, McGrattan

-Send down Ferland, Reinhart, Setoguchi and Baertschi (sadly).

We would have the ability to roll out all 4 lines in this situation, however, there isn't really any physicality.

If we don't cut out Setoguchi (which I sadly think we don't), then we'll see:

Glencross - Monahan - Hudler
Raymond - Backlund - Colborne
Byron - Stajan - Jones
Bollig - Bouma - Jooris
McGrattan, Setoguchi

Granlund as the first call up, followed by Baertschi. Let Ferland find his groove back in the AHL, disappointing we didn't get to see many games out of him.

As tough as it is to decide who goes down or sits, I don't think there's any way Byron isn't regular, playing every game at this point.

Byron is an NHLer, he's not getting scratched.

Sven also needs to stay up.

I have not missed a Flames game in close to 10 years so I have watched a lot of Colborne in his short stint with the Flames.

Meh, Colborne will be here and I will cheer for him.

No chance Byron sits. Hartley loves him.

It's incredibly tough, and I couldn't pick someone else to sit for him (Jooris is closest IMO.) I don't see how he plays every day here unless a trade is made.

How many games in a row with multiple injuries does there have to be before people stop trying to predict a fully healthy lineup?

Jooris > Backlund at this point. Use Backlund as a shutdown and energy guy, Jooris is much better offensively. Keep the creative guys together; Monahan, Gaudreau, Hudler, Jooris, Byron and Baertschi should all be together as much as possible.
