Having a blast in Cgy again!!! People are so kind and pleasant here! Aeneas is a wonderful host again! Going for my first game out of 5 tonight! Go Flames! And looking forward for tommorow's CP meeting! Thanks guys who showed up yesterday at Aeneas' house. Was perfect Flames talking evening!

Trying to find an outdoor rink to film it on but none seem ready, so it may be a ball hockey game at an outdoor rink. I know Monday morning is tough, but if anyone is interested in having some fun on camera, let me know. it will be around 1000.

Very fun night at Schanks, had 3-4 sick /tired people couldn't make it, but still had 10 I think.

Very generous gift by Furnaceface no question. Silent auction going on and he bid and won the Monahan framed pictures. Outstanding.

Locke regaled all with tall tales from CP slopitch camping...if only they were lies.

Found out Drury18 does in fact sit around reading the CBA when not watching AHL or CHL hockey.

Thanks to Puppetguy, Peanut and the others for coming out.

Good to match some faces to names of those who I haven't met before. Agreed with Aeneas, Drury18 knows an insane amount of hockey (even follows the Czech league!) and CP slopitch sounds like nothing more than drunken insanity with the odd game every so often.

I believe it was the SW U16 soccer league or some such thing that was having a silent auction. Calgaryboy had on his Monahan jersey and there were a couple of framed Mony pics like they have at the game. I know Petr has made some sacrifices to get to Calgary again and it just seemed right he had to have one of these. The other one can go in my basement and remind me of the fun we had in 2011 and are having this trip too.

For anyone who hasn't met Petr yet, you need to. His passion not just for The Flames, but for life in general is infectious.

Had a good time at the morning skate today too. All the players (except one) signed anything and everything the kids threw at the, and any that were asked were willing to get pics taken with Petr. He's got great shots with fellowCzechs Hudler and Smid and also one with Hartley. I think Hartley will have some more leverage in his contract negotiations now as he can say he has approval from The Greatest Czech Flames Fan™ who told Hartley "You are doing an awesome job with the team."

I will definitely echo what FurnaceFace said. If you haven't met Calgaryboy (or Aeneas), you need to do so. Great guys. FurnaceFace and Locke as well. It was a great evening and thanks again to Aenas and Calgaryboy for inviting me out.

Calgaryboy, I look forward to tuning into your show when you get back home even though I probably won't understand very much of it. I will work on my Czech! And saying "Trinec" right so when you come back in a few years it won't take me 5 times and a photo to explain what I was saying.

I may have solidified my status as hockey nerd though. I thought everyone read the CBA and could quote from it on demand...

Also, mini golf is now a team sport. We don't count strokes, it's goals and assists. And poor deflection attempts that look more like a pokecheck and just make things worse. Goes far better that way.
