Flames give one of the best teams in the league everything they could handle, out shoot them, out hit them. Win or lose this sort of exciting hockey is so much more than I expected from the team this year.

...... to think that we can compete with the hawks and not having to pray for some luck!
And after my criticism towards Glenncross - I felt he had a strong game without the puck and the obvious beauty of a dish but he still seems to panic when he has the puck... hopefully its just a confidence thing. I still feel Sven deserved to hit that first line for a few shifts!

Can't let a backbreaker past in the 3rd either, that one was brutal.

Sucks, but the Flames hung around with another top team in the league. Proud of this team.

I ain't even mad. A valiant effort by the Flames. In the last two games we've shown that we can go toe to toe with two of the best teams in the league, and I'm proud of them. Flames just have no answer for Kane, and that was the difference.

I'm disappointed only because we were neck and neck with a great team playing at a high level tonight. We deserved the win so much more than that game in Chicago. Oh well, hockey gods probably paying us back for that thievery.
Really unfortunate giveaway by Hiller in the 3rd, but you can't give up 4 goals and expect to win very often.

We were in it and that's all you can ask for against the Hawks. Could have went either way. If not for Hiller's bad pass and Baertschi taking the puck instead of body we might have sneaked a point out at least.

Not too upset, we've been killing it lately and that's a hell of a team that just beat us. Nothing but heart from our guys and can't wait to see them take on the Devils this weekend!

Flames played well overall...a trio of mistakes on the winning goal but the bad start is also at fault.
oh well, keep playing like that and they will be fine

I would be ok with the loss if it werent for hillers brainfart ugh brutal way to lose such a good game. Proud of the guys they played great. Not knocking on sven but if he were to be sent down for more seasoning would pourier be a better option?
