If You Could Own Your Own Business - What Would You Own
The Going into Business for Myself Thread (and all the advice in it) made me just start to wonder about what people's "dream" business would be. Because I have always had a passion for a clean vehicle, I have always dreamed of owning a car wash, and these days, it seems you could pretty much have only a few staff members to make it work. My second choice would be a bike shop, although, I have enver worked in the industry, so I have no insight into how one actually works

leaving aside the part of making it a success and staying in business, I always wanted to own a bookstore.
When I was younger, I would have loved to be part of owning and running a small restaurant & bar.
it almost happened once, but the person fronting most of the money wanted to rush the doors open and start making money "while we worked out the details", so we walked away .

Lol strip golf. Lose a piece for every shot over par. Don't think I'd make it past the third hole...

Pro sports franchise. Not to actually make money, but it would be great.

A games / hobby store. I would sell trading cards, board games, and model kits... all things I love to play with in my spare time.

An Amsterdam style coffeeshop/dispensary.
Doubtful that it will be permitted though.

Probably not. It feels like more of a niche market that I know very little about.

The dream is definitely a pro sports team.
More realistically, I'd like to be a custom home developer.
