Finally happened, my son is 5 and totally into this game saw a pokemon on the radar and wanted to go so out we go, get to the street and he trips face first and smashes the phone. It was just a 5c and it would still cost $130 to replace the screen. Not happening, it was a good run and longer than I expected.

Edit: Found another 5c but waiting for a heavy duty screen protector to arrive before he gets this one, as a child I could have never imagined having something as costly as an iPhone let alone a replacement.

Although if it is a serious question, Research Park has a ton of them. I've evolved 4 Drowsee's to Hypno's just from Research Park.

Seriously, just walking through downtown and half of the ones you catch will be Drowzees. They need a bit more variety out there.

Staying at royal York fairmot on way to Kingston tmrw. There are 3 lured pokestops from my bed, 4 with a bot of GPS wander. Best hotel ever.

Playing in the busy places makes it hard to play elsewhere. Pretty much impossible to level without dropping money on lures.

It's already become a bit harder to play with less people playing and putting up lures. I don't see this game lasting the winter?

Just hit level 25 today after going on an evolve spree this morning.

I also hit 25 last night.

Evolved my first Raichu, Dodrio, Gengar, Primeape, and Magneton.

Pokedex is now at 123.

Also just into level 25. The 190,000 needed for 26 will take some doing. Pokedex at 111 and is a slow go now too. Might need to 'invest' in some incubators to help.

Seeing that 190k was discouraging. Basically need to play another 25% of our total time to date to go up 1 level.

Yep I'm working on the 250,000 now to go from 27 to 28... Pretty daunting.

Level 1 to 26.5 is the same amount of XP as 26.5 to 30

Gets tough to level up.

I'm at 25 and 120 in the Pokedex. I only have a handful of evolutions remaining where I have at least seen the base Pokemon in Calgary. The rest are basically Hail Mary shots with eggs.

I've put a lot of time (no money) into this game, but at this point progress is measured in weeks, not days. There are no more milestones to look forward to.

You would have to think they try to keep this game as relevant as possible for as long as possible.

I wonder what sort of plans they have for the winter. Everyone I've talked to who knows about or plays the game is pretty confident the concept is dead once the snow falls and people are far less inclined to wander and collect.

Less people, less lures make the game really hard.

Every day for the past week between 10:30 and 11:30 PM a rarer pokemon has spawned near my house. I've gotten a Growlithe, Charmeleon, Bulbasaur and Magmar over the past few nights. Tonight at 11:15, A Tangela spawned and I got it just in time

I had an Aerodactyl hatch from a 10km egg. My first "interesting" one from a 10km. Usually it's a pretty common but high CP pokemon.
