The Panthers have won 3 straight on the road, all against good teams (Predators, Sharks, Ducks). Huberdeau and Barkov have been on fire, and the entire team is finally rounding into the form I figured they would have at the beginning of the year. Their last loss was against the Kings (the team they're playing tonight) and it was a game where the Panthers were really bad, so I imagine they'll want to make up for that effort tonight in L.A.

With the Flames in a dogfight with the Kings for the last playoff spot, I imagine we're all Panthers fans today at least.

I hate every other team in the league. I will hate the Panthers, Wild, Blackhawks and Sabres a little bit less today hoping for all of them to win.

It took Kane about ten games to get going after that injury -- but since then he has 20 goals in 35 games. And no off ice issues this year (knock on wood). Bounce back player of the year?

Bob Cole has gotten about half of the penalty calls wrong, but he sounds great!

I must say I'm enjoying the physicality the Jets are playing with today.

Eichel is playing very well, 31 points in 37 games and is the playmaker with tens assists in the past eleven games.

Evander Kane is also playing well for the Sabres, he had a goal and an assist in Buffalo's 3-2 regulation win over the Blues. Nicholas Baptiste also with a goal and an assist and Robin Lehner is providing strong goaltending for the Sabres as he faced 39 shots in the win.

With Jets win, they are inching there way back into bubble territory.
Nice to be the team with the games in hand for a change.

That said, can't be worried about Jets. LA and Nashville still the targets. Go Minny go Panthers. Go FLAMES!!!

McDavid is such a ######.. they are showing a segment on him signing autographs during their season ticket holder event and not once does he appreciate the fans or mentions how grateful he is... just a selfish guy talking about how its grueling and how tough it is meeting1500 people and needing to take care of himself. Oilers fans suck but these fans are the reason he is so popular and makes money. Without any fans watching the game, he isn't much (Haley Wickenheiser for example)

He's a great player for sure but frankly, don't think he will ever be a true ambassador for the game.

That segment was truly bizarre. I think the intent of Principe was to show how great a guy and generous with his time Mcdavid is, but then Connor essentially speaking about he doesn't have time for it, doesn't like autograph seekers who are adults, he's got places to be, needs to look after #1. It was strange and a bad look frankly. Not surprised though.

Shorthanded goal by the Jets Armia along with Perrault scoring the winning goal. The Habs managed only twenty shots on Hellebucyk.

kids these days lol

NHL players need to realize when they do isn't all that special...you knock a puck into a net for a living. Don't take yourselves so seriously, some people are out there saving lives/risking their lives ect. in the grand scheme of things you should count your lucky stars people enjoy hockey and are interested in an otherwise meaningless skill set.

Does anybody know what time puck drop is expected for the game at Rogers Arena?? I know with the Leafs love show going on now and with the unveiling of Pat Quinn statue in Vancouver/Hockey Talks mental illness night its a unique night.

I am trying to plan my BBQ timing for the steaks tonight.

Thanks!

Yep and then contrast that story with the story about Gaudreau and the young family from Fort MacMurray who lost every thing in the wild fires last spring. Gaudreau, Burke and the Flames went all out for them, free Gaudreau merchandise, tickets for the whole family to a Flames game and a meet and greet with the team following the game.
