Second Round: St. Louis (3rd central) vs Nashville (2nd Wildcard) Predators lead 3-1
Series is set. Times and schedule will be posted when set. Both teams are playing well. I like the Predators better in goal even though Allen is playing great, and their defense.
Prediction: Predators in 7.

To the playoff series thread starters. IIRC the NHL doesn't use Conference Quarter or Semi finals headers anymore. It's Round 1, Round 2, Conference Finals, Stanley Cup Final.

I like the Predators in 6. They look like they are hitting their stride and if Rinne can sustain this play I think they are a threat to get to the finals. Fun team to watch so I'm pulling for them as the Blues are kind of a meh team.

Battle of the goaltenders in this series. I like the play of Rinne and the fact the Preds are peaking at the right time. They under performed for much of the season and only now are we seeing what the Preds can do.
Preds in 5 games.

Blues in 6.
The Blackhawks mailed it in this post-season, making the Predators look like world beaters. They're not that good. The Blues are more battle tested and play a heavier game. The goaltending is a wash (so long as Allen doesn't fall off the map like he's done at times in his career). The Wild weren't great this post-season either, but they pushed the Blues more than the 'hawks did. I agree with others that this will definitely be a low scoring series overall.
