" Prima Donnas, all you refs are the same "

Donald S. Cherry - as he looks around wondering where he is and who the hell the man next to him is.

What ghe hell Cherry? To my point above.

" you can't chirp refs like in other sports it's disgraceful " than Malkin does exactly that and Its ok .

Man I remember all through the 90s I loved Don but it's time to hang up the skates old timer. You could just tell he was up way past what he should have been up. He was all squint eyed compared the the first intermission. He was acting all like wildford brimley the family guy version.

So glad Mahr hung them up when he did

The man next to him is a ref.

The season length is just fine. It would be nice if they started the season a week or two early though so the Cup is handed out in May.

Also, it's not the 80s and almost every team does not make the playoffs. Just over 50% of teams in the playoffs is perfect.

The NHL needs to look at viewership and why people aren't watching. On of the problem with watching for me, is that I don't have traditional TV. I have NHL Centre Ice. But during the playoffs, games aren't available as they are available on local network TV, which I don't have. So it is asinine that I can't watch playoffs without an illegal stream in the US.

His point was that the NHL has a great respect for referees and getting in their face and arguing is not tolerated (but is in other sports).

Then he said, no one in the building knew Malkin was even talking to the ref. He was lined up for the faceoff and quietly complaining. No reason to kick him out.
