Maybe I should reach out to Andy Roddick on twitter, see if he's interested in fixing Felix's serve?

Ugh, Leylah won the first set in her match in San Diego nut appeared to hyper-extend her shoulder in the tie-break and was forced to retire in set 2. Who put this hex on Canadian tennis?

Andy fell victim to the power game that is now modern tennis and a body that broke down. He never did have the big weapons and as a result had to play much longer matches that many of his contemporaries and that took a massive toll on his body. It's amazing he could produce the level that he did with a metal hip, it has to be very frustrating to have that fighting spirit and a body that fails to co-operate.

By the way, nice handshake at the net Zverev and this is to a fellow compatriot, Altmaier played a great match, show some sportsmanship jerk.

I should add, Altmaier has a pretty good 1HBH and used it very well versus Zverev.

Yeah he's a decent player and like a lot of the top 50 players where they can beat any top player that's not playing their best tennis. He's only 25 but he looks 30 with the facial hair and early 20's clean shaven.

Sigh, it appears Korda is injured again (retired in his match earlier today versus Rublev). Man, that guy has no luck at all.

Hopefully it's just a minor thing. He's a good talent but it's hard to hit your stride when you can't stay healthy consistently.

Marina Stakusic has forced a 3rd and deciding set versus #28 ranked in the world Donna Vekic. Man, what a win this would be if she could get over the line.
Edit: Vekic just too strong in set 3 taking it 6-3. Still, very good showing from Marina giving a tour vet like Vekic a really tough match.

De Minaur is now 1-10 versus Oikos as he sends the Greek packing in Acapulco.

Jack Draper is playing really good tennis right now. Hopefully he can stay healthy as I think he’s going to be a good player.

I see a lot of twitter discourse about Bweh shouldn't have been defaulted because nobody can verify what he actually said. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what he said, once you get that aggressively in an umpire's face, it's an automatic default.

I like Rublev but you can't get into the face of an official like that. If they don't default him then it sends the wrong message to players so I feel it's the right thing to do.

You can't.
But I don't know what umpires do these days. Do they not overrule anymore? So many episodes with umpires lately (Gauff). If it's that far out, they should overrule.

Dubai has more than enough money to have electronic line calling which would have made it a moot point. However, since that's not the case, if the umpire clearly sees the ball out, then he/she needs to overrule and make the correct call.
All that said, Bweh could use some anger management training.
