These are some that I built a couple years ago. There was a sale on big mirrors at Home Depot with great frames, so I bought the mirrors removed the mirror (sold them) then used the frames to build shadow boxes. Worked really well (probably abour 70 bucks a pop) downside is they weigh a bit so I used heavy hangers.

Michaels is having a sale on their frames BOGO. Went to see the Jersey ones last night. Can get 2 for $220. Not too bad of quality. Pretty good deal right now for a basic black case if anyone needs a couple.

I think I am going to buy the Costco one though. Higher quality but more money at $230 each. Ultaviolet glass and foamboard on back for jersey mounting purposes are two distinguishing factors for me.

I shared this on another forum but thought I would post it here as well. Cheap alternative to displaying a jersey in a shadowbox/frame; they were intended for larger "game" jerseys but could be used for smaller jerseys as well:

Made with an ikea curtain rod and an extra large binder clip -- cost me less than $3.00. Here are the instructions:

Spoiler!

Default Jersey Framing or Shadowbowing?

^^

This is awesome!! I have a jersey frame for my autographed flames jersey by the 05/06 team but want to display a couple of my other flames jerseys. Thanks for sharing and for the write up! I'll definitely be using this method.

P.s thanks again for the puck display case. Looks great in my cave

Speaking of puck display cases. Anyone know where a guy can get the 30 or 60 puck display cases at a decent price? I have a growing collection of over 120 Flames pucks that are all in those square puck holders. I would like to be able to hang them up on the wall somewhere instead of staking them on a shelf. However, I don't want to pay the $200 + that everyone on the internet seems to be charging for them. Unless that is as cheap as they get.

I believe the large jersey ones are $219.99. They have another size down which also holds a jersey for I think $149.99.

I'm bringing this discussion back from the dead instead of starting a new one. Has anyone tried the jersey frame that is sold on the shop.nhl website? I like the added touch of the frosted Flames logo on the glass.

Anyone know where I could get a flag framed or shadow boxed?
And how much I could expect to spend?

Just go to michaels and get one of their jersey shadow boxes. Download a 40% off coupon.

I case anyone wants a jersey frame Michael's has their 30x40 frames on sale right now for $80. That is even better than the 50% off deal I got a few weeks ago. Regular price is $220 or something.

Bump.

Seeing as this thread is over two years old - any recent recommendations for jersey framing?

TIA!

It is according to our one experience. My husband had a fishing picture framed there and the corners had gaps...definitely not cut for 45 degrees. They had to redo the frame.

Now I use my photographer for all my framing. Not cheap but basically, you get what you pay for.
