Brian Regan is playing at the Jube on Aug 26.
His show at the Jack Singer a couple if years ago was probably the funniest stand up I've ever attended.

Holy ****! $123 - $223 face value per ticket. That's absolutely insane, I honestly can't believe this.

Where are you seeing those prices? It's between $73 to $115 when I look.

Had Kyle Kinane been mentioned? Very funny Chicago comic

With fees, I paid $115 for Gold Circle tickets (first 5 rows, center).
To me, Burr is totally worth that price as it will be a solid 75 minutes of entertainment. And seeing as he is a "working" comedian, chances are most of the material is going to be completely brand new.
I pay more for that to see a Flames game, which is only 60 minutes of entertainment, and comes around 41 times per year.

It'd totally be worth it, but I'm not working full time right now so can't really justify that to myself. What a single ticket is worth is what I was planning on spending for two tickets.
Probably Burr's #1 fan in Calgary but I simply can't afford that right now. Hopefully my situation is different in May and there's some last minute tickets available

Saw him a couple years back in Seattle. He was in Vancouver recently and was last week's guest on Stop Podcasting Yourself. One of my favourite podcast guests.

He was supposed to do a show here for Sled Island a couple of years ago but couldn't get into the country. I hope he makes it back some day.
That SPY episode was great. Dude is seriously funny.

Holy crap, the cheapest ticket to Bill Burr is $128? I'm with you all, I'm a fan and I get that it's going to be a hot ticket but that's a hell of a lot of money. Jimmy Carr is here on the 6th and those tickets are $45.50.

Burr mentioned on his podcast a few weeks ago that he wants to start to do it like Louis CK does and sell tickets through his own website. Sick of scalpers, promoters and venues jacking prices up. I guess Calgary isn't the only tour date with stupid prices

Little OT, but Louis CK is doing a show 10 minutes from my place tomorrow night. I know it has nothing to do with Calgary, but I am so stoked, normally I would have to spend 3 hours driving to and from LA to see Louis. $38 a ticket to boot
