Flames with even more pressure on the Crunch. Gudievski's had to make a good series of saves there.

I think Poirier gets another assist on the 3-1 goal.

He passed it to Reid who passed it to Cundari before he sent it to Reid for the 1 timer. I don't see how he wouldn't get an assist on it. The Crunch didn't touch the puck.

Without Knight, Reinhart, Ferland, Granlund, Jooris, Baertschi and this team just keeps on rolling.
Impressive.

I truly fear the day the NHL Flames come knocking for Poirier.
He deserves it, but a lot of our offence and plays will leave with him.

I think Poirier will stay at least for a while. So far the callups have had a healthy amount of pro hockey experience. Howver, if our top 6 gets hit massively with injuries I could see him on the NHL Flames.
Ideally for me he stays until Bennett gets the conditioning stint and then after some insane chemistry on the ice, both get the callup later in the season.
Gaudreau, Glencross probably stay in the top 6 with Monahan and Granlund as 1c 2c. I could see Byron being assigned to 3rd line with Bennett and Poirier as an insanely fast, skilled scoring line to deploy against weaker 3rd/4th line talent.
