Baertschi and Aliu are the only two things I'm excited about. Aliu should add some much needed grit, and hopefully Hartley will stop burying Sven on the 4th line. He's one of your most skilled players. Give him some top 9 minutes for f--- sakes.
Other than that, I don't have a good feeling about this game. This team has clearly shown that they have no heart, no push-back, and no killer instinct in their game whatsoever. The last two games was some of the worst, most uninspired hockey I've seen this team play in all my years as a Flames fan. So unbelievably frustrating.
However, knowing the inconsistency and Jeckyl & Hyde nature of this bunch, they'll probably win in convincing fashion tonight.
4-1 Flames.

I hope the Flames either win big or crash and burn and lose big. Thats the only 2 outcomes I will accept.

4-0 Flames. Iggy is hardly noticeable again

Oh, you mean like last game when he had 9 shots on goal, a third of the team's total?

Feeling a bit conflicted. I can't ever cheer against the Flames when I watch but if I'm being realistic the only hope this team has of ever winning the cup again is losing a few games and adding some young talent.
The next 10 game stretch is probably the most crucial event for the franchise since the Phaneuf deal with the trade deadline just over a month away and the the team tied for 2nd last in the NHL.

Adding some young talent through trades is more important anyways. Draft would be nice but that's just 1 guy.
So as always, GO FLAMES!

No, I mean like most every other game where he gets a shot or two and plays without emotion. And just because he got 9 shots, it doesn't mean anything, he got 9 shots and played without emotion. I'd rather see him get 1 shot with 1 goal and maybe a few hits, maybe even a fight and inspire the rest of the team

Most important 28 hours of the season are coming up. Flames lose both, they're probably toast. They win both, they may be back in it. They split, they continue treading water.

Flames continue to tread water and give suckers (like me) false hope. 3-0 win with solid defensive effort by everyone particularly JBo and Brodie. Sven gets his 1st, Aliu gets a redirection, Caammalleri with an empty netter. MacDonald gets 22 saves with the shutout.

Stopped really caring about this season and therefore, I don't really care if they win or lose. Waiting for changes.

Yeah, probably the worst 9 SOG performance in NHL history.
The fact that he was creating offense and getting the puck on net is GOOD no matter how you want to spin it.
I love to see emotion too, but a bunch of emotional guys running around and hitting everything that moves is probably a recipe for disaster with the way the Flames kill penalties.

Logical prediction would be a loss so i think we'll we win tonight and tomorrow. Gotta keep close to 8th so it's more frustrating when we miss.
