I wonder if Negan is going to be a season only villain. Or two seasons. I felt that in the comics his arc dragged on for too long.

Well now we know why Abraham was spared an arrow to the face. Nice work by the writers to make it seem like they're straying from the comics in who lives and dies, only to tie it right back in with the double Lucille bash

I think this will be the story tool that brings us inside the Savior's camp, introducing us to new characters, and perhaps also create the story arc that will eventually see Dwight leave Negan & join forces with Rick. Perhaps Dwight & Daryl will help each other out somehow, eventually.

I think this is very possible, especially with his interactions with Dwight so far; I feel like that is building to something.

Did anyone else catch the potential foreshadowing of Negan behind bars when Rick was looking out Spencer's window and the deck's railing looked like prison bars almost. I thought that was an excellent touch tonight by the show runner(s). Also I also love JDM as Negan so much, I can't think of a better Negan.

Yeah JDM is killing it (too soon?) as Negan.
By the scenes from next week it doesn't look like Carl hid in a truck, since he was talking with his girlfriend.

Well that was an episode. That group at the end and the preview for new week, is that the Whisperers? Because when I saw the actress in next weeks preview all I could think is that it's Alpha. Obviously I could be wrong and it could be another faction not in the comics like Oceanside, but I don't want to wait a week to find out

They've barely touched anything with Negan. The TV show needs to overextend his use like the comic did, too, before the Whisperers appear.
