It was an absolute ghost town until about the NHL all-star break last year…

Their midweek games still give ghost town vibes for sure, but the Friday-Sundays often have the second bowl opened up.

How does Calgary line up AHL-wise for average attendance?

Are the Wranglers considered a 'success' by AHL standards?

I am genuinely curious.

Calgary averages 4,101.

To compare, Cleveland: 10,347. San Jose: 2,116

They’re in the bottom 1/3 of the league and below the AHL average… but I feel the better comparables are the other teams that share a building/city as the nhl club.

If you follow the AHL stats, they average 4000ish, however still always looks empty. My row sometimes me and my buddy are the only ones in it, but all of the seats are "Sold" when I looked at the playoff tickets a lot of sections were completely sold out.

I would like to see a bigger push put on to let people know there is playoff hockey, there doesn't seem to be any marketing behind this at all, nothing to get people excited to go. I think even if they did low priced tickets most of the general public/casual fans wouldn't even know about it, so then same attendance with a lower gross.

$45 is the adult price. $28 for students and something less I can't recall for children.
