Coin changes have been made to gyms following complains. 1 coin for every 10 minutes a defender is in the gym capped at 50 coins per day.

EDIT: How do I tell people to stop feeding my defender so I can get the coin!? Arg. I have gotten two defenders in gyms since launch and I can never get my coin.
I think there needs to be an attacker bonus as well.

Real time collection of coins would be a welcome addition. My Lapras has been in a gym since about 6 pm last night.

Your Pokémon will come out soon enough.
Changes should make it fairly easy for anyone to collect 100 coin per day, if they want to bad enough.

Apparently the max per day has now been changed to 50.

That's max per Pokémon, unless I understand it wrong. 100 per day max for the trainer.

Well, so far I can't complain about the new coin system. Got 12 coins already today, and have 5 more Pokemon in gyms currently, most of them will already get me 10+ coins. Lapras is still in - now for more than 24 hours.

What I like about this system is that there is always reason to go place Pokémon in guns and attack. Previously, id collect my daily 10, occasionally 20 coins, then it would be meaningless to do anything with gyms for the next 21 hours.

My only huge complaint with the update is that mon over 3000cp decay 10x faster in gyms. That is incredibly stupid and needs to be changed. Why should I try to be the very best if it only hurts you in the end?

Losing out on 50 coins/day sucks but I can get over it with that change and wouldn't be surprised if its reverted back again. It went from being way too hard to gettting 100 coins in the first 24hrs to way to easy to get 50 since the last change. Hopefully they find middle ground but not the end of the game for me if they don't.

Everything else is awesome with pokemon go part II. Going to go do my first raid in a hour!

Got completely destroyed during my first raid. Way too hard with one person. 30512 CP Rhydon - I didn't even get it below 3/4 health in 180 seconds.

Battling a single blissey in a gym and taking it almost to nothing, only to have it all of a sudden be five Pokemon all completely powered up is pretty much the most annoying thing ever.

There must have been a break in the battle. You aren't supposed to be able to reinforce like that when a gym is under attack.

Had that happen to me. Five defenders on the verge of defeat and some jerk put in berries galore on the defenders and wasted my 20 minutes of attack effort. There has got to be more reward for attacking.

Everything is still very glitchy. Hopefully they will fix it. Raids everywhere in downtown Montreal today. 4 or 5 going at a time. Got a 2700cp Snorlax in one at 89%. And yeah, looks like I was wrong. 50 coins looks like max per player per day, which is crap. Used to be able to get 800 per week if you collected on 20 hours, now only 350.

Did one raid (level 1 Quilava) yesterday. Only had 5000 cp, so went down in like 10 seconds (5 players).

Got 1 rare candy and some other items. Caught the 'mon after, 95% IV.

Tried joining my first raid. Errors out every time of the five I tried before I started the fight and it took my raid pass. Gr.

Finally caught a Miltank today. Was playing for a while at Prince's Island Park and got in my car to leave. Checked the nearby one more time and was pleasantly surprised by the shadow! Had to get out of the car and go back!

Is anyone else having a lot of trouble with raids? I can't join them and I usually get an "error" message. Four out of the five raids I tried to join went to error before the battle start while eating up my raid pass. I know it's once every day but is it once exactly every 24 hours or what?
