Huska Interview:

Great to get win against Utica. Competed and played the right way last night and found a way to put things together. Great job blocking shots. Got the bounces against them.

PP is starting to move pucks around better, coming out of zone alot faster. Baertschi is more comfortable and use his skill and ability. Cundari doing great on top.

Wolf is a little scary sometimes with his style and moving that puck along the boards. He makes the right decision most times and chipping it in and chasing it. He's doing a good job and nice to have him.

Playoff intensity type game tonight. Standings are close and games are critical. Need to find a way to get points every night. Guys are out of dog days, back with energy and looking forward to the last 24 games.

Thiessen doing a great job filling in for Ortio. Carr will be used as a starting goalie during this next stretch. Has an opportunity to write a good story for himself. He can push Thiessen and make a difference and if he plays better, he can take the net from Thiessen. The opportunity is there for Carr to take.

Flames almost with another goal shortly after as Agostino had an excellent chance but Bibeau made the save.

Van Brabant going off for Goalie Interference. He just bumped him slightly, bit on the weaker side of things.

Flames to the PK.

Flames PK doing a good job clearing out rebounds in front of Thiessen. Marlies can take the first shot, second chance is cleared down the ice or blocked.

Penalty killed and Van Brabant is out of the box and up the ice with Tousignant.

Puck goes the other way but Agostino gets it back and on a breakaway. Marlies get the puck away from him.

Van Brabant and Baertschi breaking into the Marlies zone again, but the play is broken up.

The Marlies back checkers doing a great job tonight but the Flames with a number of odd man rushes.

Marlies faking alot of shots and have managed to burn the first minute of their power play just passing and faking shots.

This is why they sit at 11%.

Penalty over for the Flames (essentially, 1 second left)

Marlies getting a call for boarding as Hathaway was pushed into the glass. Looked ugly. Hathaway is okay.

And Flames will have a 5 on 3 as Cundari's stick was just slashed out of his hands.

I believe we are looking at 1:50 of 5 on 3.

Acolaste and Cundari just blasting pucks from the point. Wolf and Baertschi just sitting there waiting for the rebounds.
