Default Starcraft 2 story spoilers

so i just finished the campaign, and though i didn't find it as strong as the original SC it was nice to see Raynor get a happy ending for once. i'm still not sold on it lasting however, since Kerrigan is apparently the key to saving the galaxy and all that. my bet is that now that she's human again and the zerg are leaderless, it's gonna come down to her making the choice to sacrifice herself and become the Queen again, and plunge the Zerg into a suicide attack to kill the hybrids or Xel'Naga or whoever the endboss is

i have to say though, for all i kept hearing about that final mission and how hard it was even on normal, i didn't have a problem with it. i chose to take out the flyers, so my anti-air was minimal and instead i had walls of siege tanks protecting the entrances and a few scattered throughout the base to take care of any worms that popped up. i'm gonna re-play the campaign again on hard this time, so i assume that's where the real challenge will kick in

I enjoyed the story though I thought the whole Tychus sub-story was underdeveloped and ended pretty feebly.

I didn't have any problems with any of the missions on Normal. I intend to play through again to try and get the Hurry Up It's Raid Night achivement, so maybe that'll change a bit since you gotta play to finish as fast as possible instead of playing it safe. Some of the Hard achievements are a pain in the ass too.

I really enjoyed the story line.

I'm so close to getting all the achievements now, just got the Lost Viking mini game achievements left and the Brutal 25 one. I can't wait to play the last mission on Brutal lol its gonna take me awhile.

Speaking of the last mission, during my run as Hard, Kerrigan got stuck at the base for some reason after her first death so I never had to deal with her again which made life a lot easier.

On Hard you'll want a few banshees to take care of nydus worms throughout. Other than that, stick to your tanks and keep 3-4 SCV's on each side to repair.

You'll want to decide how you're going to take out Kerrigan. The girl's a pain in the ass for sure. I used Cattlebruisers with Yamoto cannons which was somewhat effective but not wonderful because they're crazy expensive.

Depends what upgrades you have too.

Kerrigan will likely still have control over the Zerg in her new form. They killed the infestation in her, which had little do with her psychic abilities which is what controlled the swarm.

Apparently the best way to take out Kerrigan is stimmed Marines as well as Thors to stun her. She has an ability similar to the Immortal's Hardened Shields so Marines take her out the fastest.
I didn't know that when I did it though...mass tanks, 4-5 scvs per side and a wall of bunkers and perdition turrets did the trick.

I went the ground route, leaving an easy last map with just worrying about mainly air attacks which were a joke with all my turrets and air power.

But then again on normal, didn't try hard yet.
