I was diagnosed with Crohn's once. Luckily it was just a horrible form of shell fish poisoning after eating at Ricky Martin's restaurant in South Beach. I'm quite sure I couldn't live with those symptoms on a daily basis. You've got my sympathies for sure. And hopefully some of the treatments being developed will work wonders. Eat well.

I have hyperhidrosis, it's a pretty lame condition as far as conditions go so I don't really complain. Some botox shots in my armpits twice a year and for the most part it really isn't much of an issue anymore.

Perhaps a road to an effective cure for eczema sufferers? I'm on board! May be ultra expensive at the onset. Good news is that things are on the horizon. Would beat topical steroids which basically don't work

I have a very rare auto immune disease called Behcets. They thought I had lupus for a few years, so every time I see the "it's never lupus" quote, I chuckle. It's never lupus!!

Last February I developed a DVT blood clot in my thigh, that spread to my lungs for a pulmonary embolism. I was on Xarelto blood thinners for three months, and now a low dose aspirin every two days (not every day or I would get nose bleeds). I am fine now, and back doing my regular sports. I was quite sick for a few weeks there and couldn't walk, and really dodged the bullet. I'm happy to share my experience here or by PM if you have questions.
We think it was caused by an injury to my leg from skiing or hockey, followed by a long flight to Europe.

Aren't you guys worried about posting this kind of stuff with insurance companies lurking around social media and online profiles these days to snuff out medical issues about new and existing clients?

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Ive had some success in managing it and would be happy to discuss privately with anyone.
At the onset of the disease I would have up to 37 joints flaring including Jaw and Neck.

I'll admit I haven't been a huge fan of yours on this board over the years but you have my sympathies - not a fun hand to be dealt.

I have had lone A Fib since my mid-20s... which is pretty darn rare for anyone under the age of 60 or so. Been on full time meds ever since.
Lost 60lbs and became very active again a couple years after being diagnosed and have virtually no episodes now. The first couple years were awful though.

I found out I was diabetic because we applied for life insurance. They send a health nurse out to you to check out your health. I was denied, and got a call from my doctor to come see him right away. Pretty scary time actually.

I think most people are honest about that sort of thing. Insurance does you no good if you lie about it anyway. Might as well pay up now so you have something useful.

I get migraines from artificial light and I'm allergic to the sun (skin). I also have low iron but it's most likely from donating blood too often (for me).
Well wishes to you all!
