I'm excited.
Loved the first one.
Action packed. Much violence.

The first did so many things really well.

It's one of the only movies I can remember that actually shows realistic reloading:

My feeling is John Wick was one of the greatest films ever made. The characters motivations are easy to believe, they speak and act like real people. The world created within this film is absolutely fascinating, nothing is outright explained but still understood. The way the action scenes are filmed is perfection, no needless shaky cam or a million fast edits, it's clear where each person is shooting from with nice wide shots. I've watched it a total eights times so far and enjoy it more after each viewing.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the sequel on Sunday, even though I haven't seen a trailer or read a single article on it, I believe it's going to be a blast

In terms of physical action, I don't think there are many actors out there today that are as good as Keanu Reeves.

Re-watched the first one on Netflix a few weeks back.

Pretty much a perfect action movie.

Unbelievable but not "unrealistic."

Is this a spoiler or non-spoiler thread? Because I have been looking forward to this film.

Not sure there's much to spoil here. Lots of people will die, John Wick likely won't, much enjoyment will be had.

Its just one of those movies that I thoroughly enjoy. Its very simple in terms of plot and story-telling, but its just compelling.

I consider it a 'Count of Monte Cristo' type of film.

Everyone tells us that Revenge wont solve our problems, that we have to forgive and forget and move on, but really, that is not our base instinct.

So sometimes its nice to have that instinct catered to.

I don't get why bad guys with guns feel the need to rush within 2 feet of the good guy with a gun. Maybe, like don't run up to him and get shot in the face?

How are they going to follow up on perfection? This is going to be the Godfather 2 of action revenge films.

Liked the first one even though I don't like movies where a dog dies. Agree with Honest Trailers though the ending was anti-climatic after all the epic action preceding it.

I'm looking forward to the sequel but I will be waiting until it is available to rent.

That 'Honest trailers' thing was dumb. The ending wasnt the point.

Was there any point where you were unsure that John Wick, the titular character, wasnt going to win? Or change his mind?

The ending was pretty well set in stone, it was always about the ride.
