I cancelled my preorder. Zelda is the only game I'm excited for and it's not worth spending $400. I'll see how the wii u version compares and maybe get that, or I might be patient for once in my life and wait for more games to come out.

Anyone else have an Amazon pre-order they can check? I got in on the initial round, so it shouldn't be a part of a second shipment. Not that it matters all that much, I'm heading to Canmore on the 3rd for the weekend.

I did have Zelda pre-ordered on Amazon, and was getting a similar shipment date. When I asked about it, they said that it wasn't one of their "release day delivery" products, meaning that they weren't allowed to ship it until the release date (as opposed to you receiving it on the release date).

I'm not sure if that is the same with the console itself. But that would be a drag if it was. I cancelled my Zelda pre-order and just did one at EB Games instead. It will be quite the anti-climax if I came home with a new console next Friday and no game, so I'll eat the $16 lost by not getting it on Amazon this time around.

I know. I wasn't dismissing it as you can see that a lot of people were mentioning it across social media. I'm hoping it's not too bad of a problem but I'm also fairly sure that I won't be using the dock a whole lot personally.

You can't use the kickstand if you're plugged in to power? That'd suck for flights. Regardless, looks like a cool little system. As with most things nintendo, a few years of patience could result in a really great purchase.

When my kids become more aware of this system in a couple years it might be hard to avoid this.

Even though I ordered at basically the 1 second mark of pre-order, mine says it will be delivered March 7-8. When I contacted Amazon, they said it was because my area is difficult to deliver to...very strange. I have two delivery addresses, one in the US and the other in Calgary, and I receive Amazon deliveries to both at least once a week, using Prime in either 1 or 2 days. The CSR wouldn't budge. I called back, and got a two dollar discount, but no resolution.

I may call back again this weekend.

I am waiting for an Ipad like case that folds into a stand, someone probably will release one soon, with the ability to charge at the same time.

My wife wouldn't let me get one of those arms that hold it in the air from the bed frame.

Am in the same boat as well with a Mar 8-10. Then again I was planning on canceling my preorder anyways. I doubt it'd be worth holding onto to pass to others if it's going to be that late.

So the de-sync is clearly an issue with all the social media and preview being posted online. But apparently there it gets fixed with the day one patch. So it's not an issue.

I was considering either returning the Switch and getting one later (or scalping it if there's some initial scarcity) as I have better uses for that money right now, but man the reviews of Zelda sound so good! Not sure I could make myself return it!
