That is remarkable Johnny makes fools out of players and goalies using a kids stick.

If Bauer was smart, they should be un-discontinuing that stick. Profit.

With Johnny become a legitimate superstar in the league I'd think Bauer would look at making a stick comparable to his needs/likes and marketing it as a Johnny Hockey Stick. Lots of players have lent their names or brands to sticks haven't they?
Johnny Hockey Stick, haha. That'd be a piece of marketing right there!

There's a market for it - lots of guys in beer leagues are 5'6" -5'9" and have to use senior sticks that turn into crowbars when they are cut down. Plus you have a lot of kids of Pee-Wee/Bantam age that are that height as well.

Yeah, I cannot process how a company that makes sticks has the massive good fortune that a player like this fell in love with their stick before anyone knew who he was and now that he is lighting up the NHL they are stopping making the stick?!?!?!?!
How was the entire company management not fired the same day a segment aired on TSN with Gaudreau saying he will have to change sticks next year (after he apparently went to them and asked them to make him some more).
"Shucks, Johnny, the thing is we had a 2 year planned phase-out of that particular model, if only there was something we could do, but damn its not corporate policy to capitalize on the most obvious gift to our brand since, well, ever..."

There'll be a Johnny Hockey stick, no question. If it's not Bauer it'll be someone else.
No way this is aired on TSN and someone isn't talking to Johnny's agent the same day.

Gaudreau will have to be like Mike Green and his love for the Easton Stealth stick which was discontinued a long time ago.
Caps fans started giving him back his sticks that they got from him in years past.

When the Caps played the Red Wings this year, Ovechkin was joking in an interview that he was going to slash his sticks and break them. Pretty funny stuff.
Guys are pretty superstitious with their gear.

Whether it be hockey or tennis I've always preferred the feel and control of a lower flex.

Mike Green has 26pts this year. Gaudreau better find a good replacement twig.

They should keep one behind a glass box.

Sticks don't score goals, people score goals.
He will find another similar stick, or some company will make him a signature stick marketed towards kids, it would pull in a ton of money too
