Sitting Colby again eh... He might be running out of time here and its too bad because I really want to like his game - and to a certain point I do. He needs to be more though, I think he knows too.
Granlund is another story all together, honestly I think I would swap him with Grant and let Granny finish out his 2-way contract being THEE guy down there. I like his progression but like last year he's leveled out a bit so I think sending him down would be good for the player and the team, he needs to come in next year and take a spot at camp.
4-0 Flames. That's probably on the generous side with how putrid that Leafs lineup is with some of their players injured and basically being the Marlies.
Seems like a good game for trade bait and the youngsters to pad their stats. Hoping for a blowout.

Monahan is late for one practice and is scratched. Wideman doesn't show up for a single game this season and gets to play in the top 4 and on the first PP.
Just Hartley Things.
Just quoting myself in light of Kyprieos' tweet.
Super duper Hartley. Can you sit in the pressbox too?
I'm going to go out on a crazy, crazy limb here, and say that if Hartley scratches a player tonight, it's because he actually knows what happened. Unlike Spector, Kypreos or any of us in these threads guessing what happened and what might happen.

Keep patting yourself on the back, but the two aren't connected no matter how witty you try to be. Wideman has played like garbage, it's true, but by all accounts he hasn't been late, or nearly late, for any kind of team function.

What I meant was that all it takes is being a few minutes late to be benched but playing like complete and utter garbage for an entire season doesn't warrant any sort of benching?

Being late for a TEAM function is disrespectful and could be viewed as an individual putting himself above the team/coaches.
I also think Wideman has been atrocious this season but he puts in the effort, sticks up for his teammates and goalies, and is probably a good locker-room guy.

We know what you meant, and we also know how badly you crave attention.
But, yes. There is a very large difference in hockey between poor play and missing or being late for team functions. Especially since the former is based off your own heavily biased opinion, and the latter is an objective yes/no scenario.
