I think you're forgetting about the irrigation sclitheroe. Not too many areas can sustain that much corn. The St. Mary's Irrigation System is the reason the area is a unique to growing corn.

At least I think so.

Never had Tabor corn, but I do notice a difference in the corn from Ontario to Alberta.

I have never seen one of these Taber corn certificates of authentication. I have seen many beater trucks/vans with a piece of cardboard that has 'Taber Corn' scrawled on it.
