Lol wow really? If you check out the votes on hockeyfights almost nobody agrees with you (except one of the random oilers fans who hang around here i guess). Maroon did ok early is the best i can say for him.

Got beat up by a 40 year old

His career fight card has him winning this fight and has bumped his all-time record to

43-10-29 for the ones that have been given a rating

Dude always was and somehow still is a beast

Looks like Iggy has some gas left in the tank.

He won the fight in terms of landing blows.

I still think he should hang em up after this season. For his kids and his family, go out with your health and a little left in the tank.

Love how the linesmen were about to get in there, but backed off once they saw Iggy was still good to go.

The only thing missing were the body blows at the end. Good job Iggy!

Pat Maroon could be my least favourite Oiler outside of McDingle.

His options are pretty limited now... I think he's already like -7 with the kings and he's really declined this year but I could see him in vegas for a final season. He's still got the desire and I think he'd have one more 15-20 goal season in him on a bad team with lots of icetime.

He's one of the few Iginla detractors on this site. I'd take his thoughts on the matter with a huge grain of salt.

How many other guys have 500 career goals and 50 career fights? Off the top of my head I think Iginla will be the last of this breed unless the game really changes back in the future.

Lol, Maroon tried to get the jump early, but was hanging on for dear life by the end of it. What a maroon.

LOL...

Iggy won that fight pretty clearly... not sure what the other poster was seeing there?

Dude is 40 years old and still dropping the mitts and handling his stuff... i mean Maroon what, outweighs him by 20 pounds and has got a decade on his side?

Age may have slowed him down, but he isn't just cashing his paychecks like some players.

At a reasonable salary and with some humility, I think he's got lots of options if still wants to play. He's miles better than most bottom half players in this league.

Not sure which fight you watched. Maybe you turned it off after the first 10 seconds because that's the only way to explain the above post.

I love how he's still not even remotely intimidated by anyone in the league. Top 100.

Dody Wood vs Jarome Iginla. One of them is going to the HHOF.

Maroon vs Jarome Iginla. Same thing.

I love when Jarome switches from his right to his left and back again.

Thanks "Huggie" Maroon for letting us see Jarome beat another chump!
