Milos with another early break in set 2 (currently up 3-1). Maybe he can wrap up the match in under 50 minutes.

I hate it when they do that.

Man, Theim. 15 break point opportunities against Djokovic. He converted on one.

Can't wait for the Cathal Kelly blistering article on what a no-good bum Thiem is.

Monfils and Dimitrov just played a 13 minute and 47 second game that featured a 46 shot rally. For comparison, Milos and Dzumhur played a 54 minute match.

If someone asked me to watch a tennis player without an allegiance, I truly think it would be Monfils. He's so entertaining!

Agreed, although I think he's toning down some of the showmanship qualities and focusing more on winning tennis. Milos and Monfils could meet in the semi-finals if they each win their next match.

Ya, I can see that... He never gives up and is a lot of fun to watch.

The more I read about the Thiem-Djokovic match, the more ticked off I get at TSN for not showing the match. I get it, Raonic is the great Canadian hope, but his matches are so boring, I have no desire to watch them. WHY HAVE SO MANY CHANNELS IF YOU DONT SHOW DIFFERENT TENNIS?!?!?!?!!?!

So Monfils-Nishikori? That should be entertaining.

I cheer for the frenchies in general. They are so entertaining at the expense of eliteness.

Here is a trivia fact that would stump your friends.

Ever since the ATP had rankings (1973), there has never been a frenchman at #1.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would go with Yannick Noah as the Frenchman who got closest to that elusive number one ranking.

you would be correct.

Noah was once #3.
Forget and Grosjean were once #4

So in fact no frenchman has even reached #2 let alone #1.

I always liked Richard Gasquet. He looks like he would be no good at any sport, forget tennis, but he can play. Of course not elite, but entertaining.

So, Monfils - Nishikori (3 PM Eastern) is the appetizer followed by Raonic - Kyrgios as the main course (7 PM Eastern)
