Personally I think Tkachuk - Bennett - Ferland could be lethal.

I would also not make the assumption that Tkachuk won't improve his skating.

It seems easier to do nowadays than it once was. Players like Horvat and Draisaitl have been able to overcome big concerns about their foot speed in their draft years.

Is Mcgrattan employed by the Flames? If not why?
Guy had paid his salary out with Ferland alone 1000x over.

Sounds like there's some sort of arrangement. He spoke at developmental camp. Consultant work perhaps?

Gotta love Big Ern. Outside of Tim Hunter, Grats is the enforcer that endeared himself to me the quickest and the most in the history of the Flames.

A contract of some sort would not be surprising...sounds like he is done playing after a so so year in England.

it's going to be enjoyable to hear him speak candidly about the league too. i saw his hotstove with kerr on saturday, and he's got some unbelievable hockey stories.
kerr was also great in this format, very much the presenter, just let the guys talk.
also worth pointing out that his sobriety was only really mentioned in passing, and when things opened up for questions it wasn't asked about. he was there to talk hockey.
