Further to my "left joy-con sync issue", should anyone care: EB Games will swap it for a new set, however there is no way of telling whether it will be a set manufactured after the issue was resolved.
Out of curiosity, I called Nintendo and was surprised when I got a human after a few button presses. The rep said that they simply get you to print off a Purolator label to send it to them at no cost, and they should have it repaired and back to you in a week to a week and a half.
I'm not sure what route I'll take, to be honest. The Nintendo option will obviously take a little longer, but should provide the guaranteed fix. The EB Games option could result in another defective one, so there's a (slight) chance that I could have to send it to Nintendo regardless.
Mine desynced once while playing Zelda -- one time in 50 hours isn't enough for me to bother with all that stuff though.
Yeah - I think I'd let it pass if it were that infrequent. In the past week it has happened twice to me, and once to my wife. Plus a couple of times where the controls seemed delayed, but not a full-on mess. And we've had a fairly light Zelda week with maybe 5 or 6 short sessions between us. And like I said, not even once with the original joy-cons that came with the system, that had much more use.
Ha, so my screen protector just arrived. Shipped March 5th, they refunded it Wednesday. So uh, I guess I get 2? That must be some sort of record for the slowest shipping method possible.

I had the issue and sent it to Nintendo for repair
They express ship it. Brought it to Purolator on a Monday and got it back Thursday

Got all three medals from Kilton. Would have gone crazy without the interactive map at zedladungeon.net, you can check things when completed, great way to keep track of it. Plus find the ones I never found normally.

Cool, if you go back to the Rito village after doing all the Kass quests, he'll be there. Just teleport into the shrine. Go during the day to see a cute scene with his daughters. He'll ask you to return at night, where he'll reveal...
Spoiler!
Link and Zelda were/are a thing! It's hinted at in the memories, but he basically confirms it. Lelda? Zink?

Well, just finished BOTW. (and HZD two days ago). Good timing to have Puyo Puyo Tetris and MK8D out this week. I could use some lighter gaming for a bit before I tackle Nier.
Wish I had changed armour before finishing Ganon though. I'm watching the end game scenes with Link wearing that ridiculous ancient helm. Looks like a psychadelic cyclops.

When you mount up for the last part of the battle I changed my outfit so the last cut scene would be without cyclops hat. Did everyone else wait through the credits for the secret ending if they got all the memories and all 4 divine beasts?

I figured the memory with Mipha and all the champions eludes to the fact that the key to unlocking her power was to admit her love for Link. Only when he's on the brink of death in the 13th memory does she realize it.
