Flames Equipment Sale May 27th
Went earlier this morning.
Traffic was a snarl with a grad event at the BMO, marathon expo and lots closed for paving but nice morning for a walk.
Sale was much better than recent years. Loads of gloves, helmets, pants, skates, sticks and gear with Reebok logos cheap. Pro stock jerseys $75.
Picked up a RBK 11k helmet with unblemished Oakley visor for $100. Bennett and Gio's laundry bags for $5 each.
Left satisfied, although it's shin pads I need most.

^^ Agreed -- lots of gloves, pants and helmets available even after the initial wave of people went through this morning. Prices were definitely on the high side (compared to previous years), which also contributed to the increased supply.
Didn't see anything autographed by Johnny, Tkachuk, etc. and priced at a premium, as was suggested in some of the posts above...

There wasn't much Gaudreau stuff, two pairs of his pants one of which I got and his practice jersey that I was also able to snag, my friend was able to get 1 helmet, 1 pair of gloves, shoulder pads, and a pair of his skates all of which were Tkachuk's and all were priced pretty high, I know his helmet was $400.

I left with a pair of warrior franchises (Engelland's) in retro colorway, Franchises are getting harder to find and I like them and they were in good shape. Not the best or the worst price, there was some gloves there that were beat but $$. Grabbed a couple brand new Hudler STX sticks, a helmet with visor, a new pant shell, couple laundry bags, couple shirts, skate mat. All in all pretty decent, but alot of damage to the wallet

I would post pics but apparently I'm blocked from posting pics for reasons I don't know.
I picked up 8 pairs of tech socks for some buds back home (2 red 2 retro 4 white) for $8 total. That was worth going alone. I got some Easton pants for $60 as well.
