That site/tweet claims its from an NHL 18 article, yet doesn't link to the article.

Those are 100% guaranteed to be jerseys created by someone with the "create a jersey" feature. I don't think the NHL would allow cream coloured whites and I can't see them adding orange to the jersey.

It's actually not that bad looking but I'm nearly 100% positive that's a screenshot from NHL17.

Somewhat related - Gary Bettman mentioned yesterday during the state of the NHL address that all 31 jerseys would be shown off the night of the NHL Awards, June 21st.

This. Not everyone would be happy with the retros, but the vast majority would love them. Fans looking for something new would settle with retros if the Flames chose to go that route, assuming the Flames did not come up with an entirely new design. Retros would be the wise way to go, also likely the safest direction the franchise could go in terms of uniforms.

Me as well. There were some beautiful uniform designs that I would love to make our full time jerseys but you just know that they will eff them up like every thing KK does.

I don't know about the rest of you but I liked the retro white way better than the retro red. I will bet anything they outsell the retro whites over the flag whites.

If they go retro, I will be placing a order for Hamilton #27 on the white, and Monahan #23 for the red.

Do away jerseys ever outsell home jerseys?

I'm not crazy about retros as is, I like the black because it's been included in most (all?) of the Flames uniforms I grew up watching. I'd be fine if they went with a more "classic" design (not an exact retro copy) and colour scheme, but I'd definitely go for the home red over the away white. C of red!

I am just saying that growing up, I liked the white retro more than the red retro.

Which may mean absolutely nothing for the game jerseys. Look at any Flames practice jersey over the years, they have nothing to do with the their actual jerseys, and often have weird striping/piping patterns.

I couldn't see Adidas getting away with making teams throw striping that screams Adidas down the whole side of every jersey in the NHL.

Totally. Looking at the uniforms as a whole, in comparison to the retro white anyway, the retro red uniform almost has a little too much red. White struck the perfect amount, back when they actually wore red pants and gloves. That and I'm just partial to white in uniforms, and it was the home jersey growing up. Please return, even if it's only for a brief period
