I used DYK Post to buy stuff out of the US off Amazon - it was amazing! So cheap and quick. Highly recommended. I think it was like an extra $10 to have them deliver the items to my house.

Interesting. I've DykPosted before with girls I've met on the Internet, but never thought of doing that with other types of packages.

haven't used that one specifically but have used others in the past that worked really well, if you do look for one shop around a bit and make sure it has a good amount of good reviews, and the price shouldn't be that high

To use DYK Post, do you need an account with them or do you just use their address as the shipping address and then you contact DYK about your package being delivered to them? Just a little confused with their website. Thanks.

If I'm reading this right, you pay the receiving company fee, the taxes (and brokerage?), then $10 for DYK to pick up in Montana and deliver?

Depends on the restrictions you're talking about.
If its just for vendor/distributor agreements about not shipping to Canada, yes, they'll ship no questions asked. They're not the one with the restriction, it's on the retailer's end.
If you're talking about stuff that's illegal to ship through customs, that's a different story.
I've used Montana and Package Express. No problems with either.

Use a re-shipper, but understand that some places will actively not ship to known re-shippers, as they have legal obligations to not ship a certain product out of the US (like Crypto products, or if there are distributor conflicts). I had Best Buy refuse to use a reshipper for a 8TB HDD I didn't want to wait 3 weeks to get, so I had to ship it to another service.
I use a service called Kinek ( https://www.kinek.com/) that ships to Babb Montana and then a family member who lives nearby picks it up and brings it up next time they come.
It is $4 a package I think for this service.

Not if they're using USPS or Canada Post.
Unsure if FedEx or UPS would.

Kinda related, but are there any recommended online wine retailers in Canada?

I have used DYK many times and they're great. I ship to the US regularly for a business and we have never had an issue and it's cheaper than Canada Post to ship elsewhere in Canada despite it going down to the US first! That wouldn't apply to things like letters, but I would at least look if it's a package.
Anyway, I mostly wanted to post that DYK has moved, so if you used them and haven't been for a while, make sure you look up the address before blindly driving to the old location behind Golden Acres.
