The native of Lake Cowichan, B.C., played on the LPGA Tour from 1984 to 2008. She won more than US$3.3 million on the circuit with three victories and 44 career top-10 finishes.
For the younger group, pre twitter and internet you'd be scrolling through the newspaper to see how the Canadians did. For a number of years she carried the Canadian torch in golf.
