I've been to 21 MLB stadiums, I don't remember one not having canned beer. The only thing they don't have is a lot of stadiums don't have alcohol outside of coolers. You have to sit in the club seats to be served say a rum and coke, and even then most stadiums make you drink in the box or in the lobby, and not at field level.

I can't remember the last time I went to any sporting event where I was served a drink in a can.

The guy who threw it is a moron, but the Jays are kind of negligent here. Especially after what happened last year in Game 5 of the ALDS when drinks and cans were reportedly raining down on babies.

Every stadium I've ever been to for both football and baseball server drinks in a can.
