Ramo has looked a lot worse than Hiller lately. Even just looking at December, in which Ramo had 2 wins before this current 7 game losing streak:
Code:
Goalie	SA	GA	Saves	Sv% GAA

Hiller	107	9	98	0.916 2.07
Ramo	120	16	104	0.867 3.58

Yeesh, I had no idea it was that bad. Thankfully Hiller has the experience to at least keep the team afloat.

Is it really that bad wearing a Flames jersey in Van?

I've been to all kinds of sporting events around the world and never really seen anyone in an opposing team jersey get it that bad unless they're belligerent a-holes. Is Vancouver really the center of the universe for idiot fans?

It's fine. I've never had any (serious) troubles.

This sucks, I was really hoping for a win against Dallas last night because the Canucks always just seem to have our number.

No, it's fine. If you want trouble you can certainly find it but otherwise it's no big deal. I have seen Flames fan thrown out en masse during a bad loss years ago but otherwise nothing. Personally I have had one incident in 14 years.

I think to get on a winning streak we have to have Hiller steal one. We're too worried about our mistakes ending up in the back of our net.

I'm going with a 3-0 Vancouver win. Vrbata with a pair of PPGs and Miller with the shutout. Flames always look horrible against the Canucks.

He sure looked good last game. " non NHL goals" was how I believe the announcer put it.

Agreed. Pull out all the stops, everybody go all out and win this one.

Lets end this thing.

Yikes. That 5/6 D pairing is going to get torn to shreds by the Sedins and what is Raymond supposed to do on the 4th line? And no Grats? Thats a shame.

I suppose scratching McGrattan makes sense. Desjardins isnt nearly as stupid as Tortorella.

I'm not very optimistic on this one we never beat the Canucks. Our PP needs work again now that Gio and Brodie have cooled down. We also need someone else to start putting pucks in besides the D.

Pity, mostly. The Canucks have been relatively successful compared to the Flames in the last 5 seasons, and they generally thump on the Flames in Vancouver. Mostly I just get strange looks and side-glances. "Who is this guy cheering for this team that leaves so much to be desired?" type stuff.

Right after 2004 there was some decent animosity between the clubs, but I think Vancouver hates Boston, LA, Chicago a lot more than the Flames these days.

Flames snap the losing skid tonight. 4-2 win.
