I have no words. This team badly needs an injection of enthusiasm. That's all that needs to be said for this game day thread.
Vancouver is slumping at the moment as well, so this might be the slump buster, but they have kicked our butt over the past couple of years so I doubt we beat them on their ice. Tonight is going to suck.
Flames
Does it even matter?
Canucks
D. Sedin-H. Sedin-Vrbata
Higgins-Bonino-Hansen
Matthias-Richardson-Vey
Dorsett-Horvat-Burrows
Edler-Tanev

Go Flames Go…I guess.
Discuss.

I do not trust the Canucks. We are losing games anyways so shaking up the 4th line with McGrattan's extra shifts going to a top 6 player who is really flying seems like a good idea to me.

No idea what to expect with this one. I've felt good going into most of the games in this losing streak. I felt really apprehensive going into last night's game, and we played pretty well for the most part and were right in it until the end. So who knows what breaks tonight, our own streak or the Canucks?
Hopefully whatever lineup shuffles and line juggling happens for tonight clicks. It seems like the team has been struggling to find the right combinations during this skid. Things I hope to see:
- Play Potter for either Engelland or Diaz (probably Diaz). If you're not going to dress the guy in the second half of a back to back, what's the point of recalling him before an injury forces your hand?
- Play Granlund in the top 6 and Jooris in the bottom 6. I love the Jooris story this season, but I think he's been in over his head of late. I'd like to see Granlund with some combination of Gaudreau/Raymond and Hudler/Colborne, just to see what he can do in the role
- Actually while we're at it, maybe try Stajan in the checking role between Glencross and Jones, and let Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler try some shifts. I don't think we've seen Gaudreau and Monahan play much together - we've been losing anyway, so why the hell not?
Hoping for a W before Christmas. GO FLAMES GO!

Think it is going to be an ugly nite unless ramo comes out and steals the show. Am curious to see, win or lose, if the flames can score more than one goal.
Pretty sure we lose again tonight. The Canucks are a pretty good puck possesion team and for what ever reason we can never beat the nucks. Here's hoping though.
