Call up Poirier to inject some enthusiasm and end the skid?

I watched the baby Flames in Rochester last night. Fun game. Theissen stood on his head. Sven and Emile and Elson stood out to me with speed to burn. But, beyond the goalie, Wolf had the biggest impact on the game on the Flames side. Noticeable everytime on the ice, badass, under-the-skin noticeable. And scored a goal 30 seconds in crashing the net.

Wolf has an awful stride but still seems to get around OK. And he is massive. Has the biggest head I have ever seen. Seriously massive, scary-looking coconut. If you want to call up a player to change the character of the club, he's be my choice.

Oh yeah, if that's the case then absolutely. With Monahan last year I was one of the guys saying how I didn't care about his contract situation, if he's ready to play he's ready to play.
