The forecast where I'm going for Monday is a mix of sun and clouds. Knowing my luck, it'll likely be one cloud blocking the sun while the rest of the sky is clear.

I've been too busy to prepare for this, does anyone have an extra welding lens or glasses they would like to sell, I might be able to find something on the way down...but I'd rather have them before I go.
I have friends that are welders, but none of them have what I need...
Now I'm worried about fuel and the volume of traffic...lol. Things I didn't even consider.

Thanks to 4x4 who recommended the Going To The Sun road. It was out of my way, but totally worth it...on a Wednesday, at least. I don't think I could take the traffic on a weekend.
Getting to the eclipse path tomorrow... I think I'll top up the tank at every opportunity, and grab a few extra non-perishables, just in case.
Very cool, I'm going to get that app. But I think I'll stay holed up at home with food, wine and a gun to defend my home and family from the inevitable looting when the eclipse doesnt end and we're faced with the prospect of perpetual darkness.
Other people are going to photograph and video the hell out of this thing, I'll let them do the heavy lifting and then enjoy he fruits of their labours during the time of the sunshine after the Great Panic.

We drove from Columbia Falls today. Roads were easy and not busy at all. That being said I'd recommend using an app like Waze tomorrow if traffic starts getting crazy so you have a heads up.
In a somewhat related note I am impressed with this town. The river walk area around the falls is very nicely done and there is loads of art everywhere.

Think we can off-load some old rocks and a blue circle?
