I'll give Scorpion the benefit of the doubt because I've never heard him blatantly make things up, but you got to admit it sounds pretty funny. I had a pretty good chuckle.
I guess it depends on the nature of the discussion. Was Guy in Pub saying things like "Lombardi's been asking about any injury concerns with our guy on the right". You know, the kind of lingo that a casual fan wouldn't be relaying

I sat next to BT in a bathroom stall and let me tell you the noises I heard coming from the stall could mean only a couple of things, Gaudreau is being actively shopped or that he enjoys Mexican cuisine.

See there's your problem right there Scorpion, nobody talks on the phone anymore. Guy in Pub was just a crazy who talked to himself about his underwear (bottom pairs) defending his anus from an Alien organ trade on D-day (what you thought was deadline day).
But I could see how you got mixed up.
