lol he actually retweeted this, now deleted since people in the WH have probably given him the definition of the word (or maybe he though he was reading fantastic-ist?). He also made more winks to the Nazi's by retweeting Fox&Friends saying he's gonna pardon Arpaio and someone saying Chicago is a disaster (Chicago being alt-right code word for black people).

He also retweeted this and deleted it, somewhat suggesting early morning coke bender.

full fledged bailing on him, going on, I'd say.

The president of a manufacturing association has become the fourth executive to walk away from President Trump after he took two days to denounce white supremacy.
Scott Paul, head of the Alliance for American Manufacturing, quit Trump's manufacturing council on Tuesday. He said on Twitter it was "the right thing for me to do."

So if I'm following this right, the only CEO Trump called out for bailing of late is the African American one?

The individual companies leaving the council give the big headlines as they are noticeable to the public but this is likely the biggest blow of the 4 given:
> it's an association that represents many businesses and the United Steelworkers union
> it was set up specifically to increase US manufacturing with smart policy choices....a goal that perfectly aligns with what the administration said it wanted to achieve (let's ignore that by and large the US economy and the workforce needs to shift away from these dreams of bringing significant manufacturing back).
If they are removing themselves from the council it is because they are getting pressure from member companies and the largest union in the country to withdraw. It means that the blow back they are getting being associated with Trump is out weighing any advantages they see now or with forthcoming policy initiatives.
Being associated with Trump and his administration even under the guise of trying to steer them towards responsible policy is simply becoming "not worth it". Make America Great Again indeed. When the corporations and lobbying groups are cutting ties it says quite a lot.
edit: Intel exec was very direct in saying that Washington does not want to make progress but rather attack anyone that disagrees with them. Hard to claim you are draining the swamp when the guys actually employing people are outright saying that isn't happening.

You can't?
The guy is 5 years old. Me, me, me, me, me. He doesn't care if anyone gets killed, disenfranchised, beaten, threatened etc as long as it's not him (or Ivanka).

I'm sure Trumps base voters would love to boycott Walmart. It'll probably go as well as their Budweiser boycott.

That said they are staying on the council but it seems like a pretty significant warning shot.

Looks like Trump is just going to govern from Trump Tower, where he's holding a press conference.
signed another EO, this time to expedite infrastructure projects
also says this about execs that are abandoning him
Trump said the leaders were leaving "because they're not taking their job seriously."
"They're leaving out of embarrassment," Trump said, adding that the leaders of some companies on his council don't make their products in the US.

Is anyone watching the press conference? Sounds like he's on quite a rant right now from reading Twitter.
