Rob Anders falling asleep on the job...again
This time the Calgary West MP fell asleep at a veterans committee meeting while MPs were being briefed on a program to help homeless vets.

I am more amazed every day that this guy has been able to stay in the job this long. It's embarrassing to have him as my MP.

What an embarassment.
(Also, in before the "well the Liberals always had people falling asleep when they were in government" comments that can't be far behind)

That's probably what he's doing. Don't go to a veteran's committee after a 4 day coke bender. Jeez Anders.

Anders is a bit of an idiot, not sure why they protect him. You gotta think someone better would be happy to run in a safe seat like that.

The more sleeping Anders does, the less stupid garbage comes out of his mouth.

It's why I stayed out of politics. If I had to listen to the same BS questions not answered in a thousand different ways, I would fall asleep too, and probably wake myself and rumble the the chamber with a good honkin' snore.
They should begin question period with a few shots of tequila for everyone. That way everyone one will actually say what is on their mind, instead of playing it safe. I could stay awake for that, until I passed out.

Everyone but Pat Martin, he acts like a aggressive foul mouthed drunk when sober.

Check out the comments by Anders about the vets in this article. The guy is a complete disgrace. I have no idea how he remains in the CPC caucus, its really a mystery.

There are so many empty seats. Can't they just move somewhere out of the range of the camera?

I'm surprised a somewhat capable independent candidate hasn't tried to take a chunk out of Anders' support in Calgary West. The guy doesn't do anything and the votes keep coming.
Maybe I'll run against him next election. Are there enough CalgaryPuckers in Calgary West for a Jihad?!

You wouldn't get 2 steps into the nomination process before Harper assassinates you or kidnaps your kids.
Anders must have a crap load of dirt on our PM.

Did they?
To be fair, I bet Rob was out all night eating poutine andpicking up chicks from Edmonton's Racknine call center, so I don't blame him. I would nod off as well.

Honest question, who keeps voting for this guy?
Is there anyone on CP who will admit to putting the X next to Rob Anders' name on the ballot? I get that many vote for their party regardless of candidate, but you'd think Anders has proven incompetent enough to even get dyed in the wool conservatives to rethink it.
