Good. I was worried that after the loss we wouldn't get to hear more about McDavid.

That's nice that they let a kid on the Oilers bench. Oh wait, that's Nugent-Hopkins.

Horsesh--t call. That was clearly offside. Not that it matters with 6 seconds left, but that's brutal.

I expect all three stars to be dominated by the Oilers.

Video? From Sportsnet you couldn't see Maroon one way or the other.

I was watching the Ducks feed and they had one angle where you could see it pretty clearly.
Anyway...Oilers lose! Yay!

After an outing like that many teams would give the backup a start. Oilers can't do that.

How the hell is McDavid in on every goal the Oilers score?

they have no depth. when mcdavid is on the ice the oilers are a playoff team. when mcdavid is off the ice, the oilers are... well... the oilers.
also the oilers got beaten pretty bad given how important that game was. ducks just took over and the oilers had no answer.

As much as we hack on Remenda and his love for Connor, he did make a real sharp point there at the end.
McDavid was really hustling down the ice when they were down by two with just 23 seconds left, and Drew really fawned over that. Because that's a special talent. Nobody else would do that, and Drew picked it out and made sure we were all aware of this.
I didn't see the entire game, but I assume he applauded the young superstar for tying his skates before the game?

Had to laugh at Kevin Quinn's line at the end, "A showdown of the two top teams.....battling for second in the division."
What?

I was just cheering for no OT but have to admit it was fun watching the Oilers lose.

Their next two are against Colorado, including tomorrow. If they can't risk starting Brossoit for at least one of them, they never can.
